What is quarter round and shoe moulding？

Quarter round and shoe molding are types of trim or molding commonly used in carpentry and interior finishing work. They serve to cover gaps and add a decorative touch to various surfaces, particularly where the floor meets the baseboard or other surfaces.

Characteristics

Primed and ready to paint. Easily work for machining, cutting and drilling.

 

 

Surface finishing

hite gesso and water-based primer is applied, coating is applied equally on all sides with strong adhesion to the wood substrate.
Product to be sanded, and buffed to remove surface imperfections and to insure smooth surfaces.

Glue and gesso and primer

Environmentally-friendly. Waterproof glue and gesso and primer are applied if required.

Moisture content

Kiln dried to a moisture content of 8%-12%.

Gesso thickness

Less than 0.3mm.

Dimension and tolerance

Customized size and profile. (Tolerance is +/-0.8mm)

 

 

Quality control

No defects allowed like deformation (bowing, crook, warping, cupping, twist),

bleed through, open finger joint, pith, colorvariation, stain, machine mark, dent,

big or dead knot, crack, breaking, split, scratch, wrinkle, peeling off coating.

Delivery within 45 days after receipt of the deposit
