White primed door casing moulding can be used in the following ways:

Installation Process

Measure and Cut: Before installation, accurately measure the length of the door frame where the casing will be installed. Use a saw to cut the white primed door casing moulding to the appropriate length. Ensure the cuts are straight and clean for a proper fit.

Prepare the Surface: The surface of the door frame and the adjacent wall should be clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any old paint, wallpaper, or debris. If there are any holes or imperfections, fill and sand them smooth to provide a flat surface for the casing to adhere to.

Apply Adhesive or Use Nails: You can choose to use construction adhesive or nails to attach the casing. If using adhesive, apply a thin, even layer along the back of the casing and press it firmly onto the door frame. If using nails, predrill pilot holes to prevent the wood from splitting and then nail the casing in place, spacing the nails evenly.

Miter the Corners: For a professional look, miter the corners of the casing where they meet. Use a miter saw to cut 45-degree angles at the ends of the casing pieces so that they fit together neatly at the corners. You can use wood glue and a clamp to hold the mitered joints together while the glue dries.

Fill Gaps and Sand: After the casing is installed, fill any gaps between the casing and the door frame or wall with caulk. Smooth the caulk with a putty knife and let it dry. Once dry, sand the surface of the casing lightly to remove any rough edges or bumps and to create a smooth finish.
