Trim boards are a decorative moulding which is used for the home to add a break between floor, ceiling, walls, doors and windows. Trim boards’size is usually 1x4, 1x6, 1x8 (Board Feet)etc. Trim boards can be along the floor or around windows and door. Normally it is square design. It is also know as the one of the baseboard.

Production process: Primed trim moulding are made of FJ Solid Radiata pine, pre-coated with thin primer,it is ready for painted. During the production process, the timber is kiln dried to consistent moisture content before machining and finishing. This ensures that trim board is not prone to distortion or raised grain. Finger jointing and lamination of the timber components further enhances the stability and strength.

Answer: One board foot is the nominal quantity of lumber derived from a piece of rough green lumber 1 inch thick and 1 foot wide by 1 foot long. For example, a 2" x 4" x 8' Stud contains 5.33 Board Feet.A linear foot is the quantity of lumber derived from the total length of a piece of lumber. For example a 2" x 4" x 8' Stud contains 8 linear feet:
1 x 2 → 3/4’’ x 1-1/2’’
1 x 4 → 3/4’’ x 3-1/2’’
1 x 6 → 3/4’’ x 5-1/2’’
1 x 8 → 3/4’’ x 7-1/4’’
1 x 10 → 3/4’’ x 9-1/4’’
1 x 12 → 3/4’’ x 11-1/4’’
