White Primed Trim Board

Trim boards are a decorative moulding which is used for the home to add a break between floor, ceiling, walls, doors and windows. Trim boards’size is usually 1x4 , 1x6, 1x8 (Board Feet)etc. Trim boards can be along the floor or around windows and door. Normally it is square design. It is also know as the one of the baseboard.

Production process for Primed moulding:
1.Cut the timber logs into boards.
2.Kiln dried to moisture between 8-12% range to ensure stability through the successive manufacturing processes.
3.Put the board stay in the air for more about 18-25days. Different size board require different days to keep the material more stable and to make moisture content more uniform.
4.Cut out the knots of the board, and cut it into small piece, ready for finger joint.
5.Finger jointed into the length as required.（8ft, 10ft, 12ft ,16ft ）
6.Rough sanding then make into shape by molding machine according to the clients drawing.
7.Two time white primer( will sand between primer). And then acrylic primer paint.
8.Check piece by piece, and packing.

Answer: One board foot is the nominal quantity of lumber derived from a piece of rough green lumber 1 inch thick and 1 foot wide by 1 foot long. For example, a 2" x 4" x 8' Stud contains 5.33 Board Feet.A linear foot is the quantity of lumber derived from the total length of a piece of lumber.
