Description
1/4 quarter round is made of finger jointed solid radiata pine, two gesso coating , ready to be painted, it usually used in your house, as they are really sturdy.
The surface finished of quarter round mouldings are white primed .During the production process, the timber is kiln dried to consistent moisture content before machining and finishing. This ensures that shoe mouldings are not prone to distortion or raised grain.
Wood Quarter Round are the transitions between a wood floor and a vertical surface under cabinetry. It also serves as a substitute for quarter round mouldings when space is limited.
Primed Wooden Quarter Round
It is manufactured by trimming defects from common grade lumber to make short lengths of clear lumber. These pieces are then glued into longer lengths and manufactured into mouldings. This procedure helps reduce the tendency of the piece to twist or warp.
