Main Materials Of Wood Moulding Trim

There are five main materials: Radiata Pine, Fir,Laminated Veneer Lumber, Medium Density Fibreboard,Poplar

Radiata Pine: Radiata Pine wood is of medium density, less scar, less grease, uniform structure, average shrinkage efficiency, strong stability and good nail holding force. The density is 500-520kgs/m3.

Fir：The density of Fir is lower than that of Radiata Pine. It has many characteristics, such as scarring, grease, moderate hardness, straight texture, resistance to decay and turbidity, and no insects. The density is 450-480kgs/m3

LVL--Laminated Veneer Lumber：High density, good toughness, not easy to deform. The density is 680-720kgs/m3.

MDF--Medium Density Fibreboard: High density, hard material, low cost and easy processing. The density is 680-720kgs/m3.

Poplar: Less scab, soft wood, low density 450kgs/m3.
