The skirting line refers to the decoration material installed in a small position at the joint between the ground and the wall. It can cover the expansion joints between the ground and the wall to prevent the external force from directly damaging the wall and protect the wall surface. Second, the baseboard has a balanced visual effect that makes the transition look more natural. Although the baseboard installation is not a big project for decoration, it should not be underestimated.
The wooden baseboard has a softer visual feel, looks very comfortable, and is easy to install, but it is less used in home decoration, mainly because of the high cost and the difficulty of matching. The wood surface often has repair marks and poor wear resistance. It is easy to cause arching due to weather changes. The service life is relatively short, usually used for about five or six years, and the surface may be worn and mottled.
